Teachers Lounge

The 9-1-1 for Kids section of the SORC web site was designed to be used as a learning tool for both teachers & parents.  SORC is interested in teaching kids how to properly use 9-1-1 to get help in an emergency situation.

SORC encourages you to go through this section of the web with your students or children.  Help them print out the activity pages and complete them.  Please feel free to photocopy any of the pages in this site for use in the classroom.

The Teacher's Lounge contains a "9-1-1 Presenter's Guide" with tips on activities to help children learn to properly use 9-1-1 and a page with questions to review the basics of calling 9-1-1.
